My Favorite Things (MFT) is a family-owned business started by Kim van der Sanden in 2006 with the goal of offering products that are fresh, fun, and completely distinctive.

While initially Kim curated her favorite paper-crafting items, within a couple of years, the company was producing and selling proprietary products. Today MFT continues to place emphasis on offering the highest quality products, delivering excellent customer service, and helping paper-crafters everywhere bring their creativity to life.

MFT has grown substantially over the last several years; they are clear about their target audience and have a talented in-house creative team and well-defined brand mission and message. While business growth and new customer acquisition are their strong suits, marketing and advertising lacked strategy (i.e. A/B testing, analytics review, measurement against KPIs, etc.) They needed a knowledgeable digital marketing partner to help them better define advertising and marketing objectives.

We were brought in to partner with MFT’s creative team to provide full-services around media buying, reporting, search engine optimization (SEO), web development and design, and increasing social engagement. Additionally, we help them discover and implement the best ecommerce solutions to enhance and support their customer experience.

After reviewing their current advertising plan, we made strategic recommendations to shift their focus to those platforms that best matched their audience and mapped out efficient and effective ad buys for both paid search and also social media marketing. While their content and creative is often satisfactory, in many case we make suggestions for improvements based on our own research and also A/B testing.
